If you’ve turned on the news recently, you’re probably asking yourself, “Why is there so much hate related violence in the world? Has it always been this way?”
Violence occurs when multiple risk factors come together to create a highly toxic situation. There are presently at least five situations in the national and international news where the alleged perpetrators were of different color, ethnicity, power, resources, or religion than those who were killed. Each of us is unique. Stopping bullying is about learning to respect each other’s differences and communicating effectively with other people.
